The hotel and surroundings

Sardinia is a renowned destination for tourists from all over the world who are enchanted by the natural treasures this beautiful island has to offer. Indeed Sardinia boasts charming tourist resorts both on the coast and inland, in the mountains and country-side. The Province of Cagliari alone offers a wide range of fascinating places to visit: Poetto beach, near the island's chief town, the coastal resorts of Capitana, Geremeas, Torre delle Stelle, Solanas, Campulongu, the famous Villasimius, Costa Rei and many other beaches renowned for the beauty of their unspoilt natural surroundings and their crystal clear waters.
For those who prefer the mountains, the Sette Fratelli mountain range offers a marvellous alternative. This splendid massif is situated in the heart of the Sette Fratelli oasis, which covers more than six thousand hectares of forest and Mediterranean scrub. This mountain range is characterised by the grey of the granite rock and reaches an average height of 800 metres. It is immersed in Mediterranean vegetation made up of holm oak, cork oak trees, arbutus and myrtle bushes.

Instead, for those wishing to discover the island's heartland, we recommend a visit to the famous massif known as the Gennargentu, in the Province of Nuoro, which boasts the highest peaks in Sardinia. During the winter we suggest visitors stop off at Mount Bruncu Spina, 1,829 metres high, which is equipped with ski lifts and restaurants and is particularly noted among winter sports enthusiasts and mountain lovers.
